AFP photographer Yasuyoshi Chiba has won the top prize at the World Press Photo Awards 2020, which also gave awards to three other photojournalists from the Agency this year.

AFP photographer Yasuyoshi Chiba has won the top prize at the World Press Photo Awards 2020, which also gave awards to three other photojournalists from the Agency this year.
Photographer Guillermo Arias has won the Visa d'or News award, the highest prize given at the "Visa pour l'Image" festival. The 31st occasion of the world's leading photojournalism event came to its conclusion in Perpignan on saturday. The prize recognise Guillermo Arias's work which focuses on the migrant caravans in Central America.
The 31st edition of the international photojournalism festival Visa pour l’Image takes place from august 31 to September 15, 2019 in Perpignan, with exhibitions of works by AFP photographers Guillermo Arias and Ed Jones at the Couvent des Minimes.
